Alina Wilczynski launched her career in the design and advertising industry when she co-founded Jupiter Design Group, Inc. in 1994, an award-winning boutique design firm located in Northern New Jersey. Along with co-founding business partners, Diane McNamee and Michael Walmsley, Wilczynski directed award-winning communication campaigns for clients such as The Valley Hospital, The Red Cross, Schering Plough, Toshiba, Stevens Institute of Technology, M&M/Mars, Robin Hood Foundation and Supermodel Emme.
In 2003, Wilczynski co-founded OP.LYNX, The Women’s Network of Out Professionals, a community-building endeavor created to foster professional growth for individuals and groups through panel discussions, workshops and networking events. Wilczynski organized events featuring women entrepreneurs and executives, noted filmmakers and playwrights, authors, artists and athletes at such venues as Museum of Modern Art, Asia Society & Museum and American Folk Art Museum.
Wilczynski was also invited to serve as founding Executive Committee Member and Marketing Committee Chair of LGBT-2-B, The LGBT Committee of the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce. The highlight of her tenure with the Manhattan Chamber, was producing Women on a Mission: Lesbian Mavericks & Mavens in a Mastermind Session on Leadership, an event that featured women leaders in government, private & public sectors, small business and non-profits in spirited discussion.
